The Full Smeall Deal: Smealls Do Maui 2015 - Day 6

Another gorgeous day here on Maui! Our morning started with our usual routine which included a nice walk to the park and coffee for mom and dad. We could really get used to this!!! Natalie loves it too, she kept saying on our walk "we go to park, but coffee for mom and dad first!" She is totally catching on...smart girl!

When we got back to the condo we tried calling cousin Ty to wish him a happy birthday. We didn't get an answer so Natty made him a cute video!

We got our sunscreen on and headed over to the pool. There were a few older couples lounging at the poolside, but the swimming pool was all to us! I'm sure they loved it when we showed up with a shrieking two year old! LOL...actually I'm sure it just reminded them of their grandchildren that they miss so much...hehe!

When we first got Natty into the pool she started screaming. We aren't really sure why she's been afraid of things here, probably just a little phase. It took a little coercing, but finally she warmed up and loved the pool. We got her a little floating tube that worked perfectly. It's a lot easier than holding her the whole time and I think it makes her feel safe.

After the pool we had some yummy lunch. We tried calling Ty again and this time we got to talk to him and wish him a Happy Birthday! It was so cute listening to Natty talk to him on the phone. She loves her cousins! Natalie took another great nap while Joe and I sunbathed. We are so grateful for a good napper so we can have some quiet time...and a margarita...hehe!

During nap we got a text from a friend that Richard Sherman is on Maui...what?? We made it our mission that afternoon after nap to head down to Wailea in search for Richard. We figured Wailea would be the best first place to start the search. We enjoyed a beautiful walk along the boardwalk and also walked through the Grand Wailea Hotel, which is pretty unbelievable.

We didn't find Richard, BUT we had a wonderful time on our family walk. We went back into the Shops at Wailea before heading back and our noses got the best of us and we got an ice cream treat before heading back for dinner! I think it's completely fair to have dessert first when you're on vacation! The ice cream even tastes better here, I swear!

When we got back to the condo we had BBQ chicken and salad for dinner. We've been making friends at the condo and Natty got some play time with her friends out on the lawn. They kicked the ball, played hide n' seek, and tag. She loved it and of course it wore her out even MORE!
