Naches Loop Trail at Tipsoo Lake

Last Thursday Ariel and I headed up to the Naches Loop Trail at Tipsoo Lake. I have done this hike before and have been longing to go back! The hike is about 3.5 miles. It isn't strenuous, but it is the most beautiful hike! We did it just in time to catch the wildflowers before they are gone for the season. We were breathing in their fragrant aroma the whole hike. We really couldn't have picked a more beautiful day! Here's some pics...

Cape Disappointment - Don't read into the name!

For Joe's big 28 this year, I decided to think outside the box! And despite how the name sounds, it was far from disappointing. Joe loves to camp and I figured it would be super surprising to him if I actually planned a trip. So I did...

I came across Cape Disappointment and the name struck me! I realized it was at Long Beach and I've heard really good things about the beaches there. I'm so glad I came across this campground. It was absolutely beautiful and somewhere I would LOVE to go again. We could hear the waves from the campground, the beach was stunning and quiet, there was hiking to two different lighthouses and more! We had such an enjoyable time! And don't you worry, as always, I documented the trip with pics. Enjoy!

It's all about the pink now! And purple too...

Yesterday we were thrilled to find out that our little baby we are expecting in January is a GIRL!!! I didn't realize how much fun it would be to find out. We no longer have to call the baby "it"! Let's just hope when it comes down to the due date, she really is a she. HAH! I have faith in the technology these days.

After finding out we were having a girl, we changed into our pink and headed down to UW Tacoma for some gender reveal photos. Hope you enjoy our "pretty in pink" photos!

It's time again...

I totally know it's repetitive of me to say I'm going to be better at getting my posts up, but let the repetitiveness continue! HA! At least it seems like every time I say it, I do get a few posts up before I go missing again.

The problem with letting so much time pass is that I never know where to start again! I have heaps and heaps of pictures (I definitely don't have a problem with taking those), but where to start?!? I could go chronologically, but because I'm random, I'm going to just post whatever my little heart desires!

Today, we are going back to April 15th! Tax day, you ask?!? NOPE...my sissy's baby shower! I was set on the idea of doing a themed shower. Being sucked in by Pinterest, how could I be any less creative - I had to do something "cool". I went with the "Ready to Pop" theme and I think I pulled it off quite well! Here's some pics for you to decide...

 So many beautiful gifts!
All things "pop"! (Hope you can read the tags)

So many people there to celebrate!
Hosting is a lot of work, but so much fun!
 Love my Sis!
