Well day 3 was the complete opposite of day 2...RAIN! Like serious rain.
We tried to be positive at first, but as the day went on and the rain kept coming, we were just like "seriously?!" But we chose to make the best of it.
In the morning we went down to the Shops at Wailea. For the most part they are covered so it worked out well. We went in and out of the stores and Natty was a trooper. Her favorite part was going up and down the escalators so we did that a few times and she loved it!
We went back to the condo for lunch and Nat went down for a nap. Probably the most boring part of our day was during nap time. Joe and I couldn't sit out in the sun, so we just sat inside and watched it rain. We've been so relaxed and getting so much sleep that we didn't even feel like taking a nap ourselves (I always love naps too).
We had a couple shows on our IPad to watch so that took up some time. When Natty got up from her nap we were all a little stir crazy so we decided to go for a walk. Who cares about the rain, it was still super warm and muggy! We walked down into Kihei and shopped around one of the open air markets. At least it got us out and we could get some fresh air! It was so strange being out on a rainy day here - it was like the town was all in hiding. No one else was out!
When we got back to the condo we cooked up some flank steak and salad. It was super yummy! That pretty much ended our night.
